TONGA Polynesian Paradise

A near perfect climate allows to sail in Tonga year round. A fascinating area of brilliant colors, blue lagoons, fine white sandy beaches and lush green palm trees. These islands, right under the date line, do start the days first on this globe.

Departure Marina: Neiafu in the Vava'u group of about 80 islands.

Nearest Airport: Tonga Tapu with connection to Neiafu on Vava'u.

Itinerary: With light steady trade winds, we start towards any of the islands, depending on the desired distance one wants to log on a particular day. For navigation care has to be taken as it can be difficult to see the reefs. Most islands offer some delicious authentic food on shore and a Tongan Feast will be cooked every week at some place.

Price per week: $ 1250.00 per person. Included boat charter, linens, pillows, towels.

Not included are airfare, food, beverages, diesel fuel, and end cleaning .

How to get there: Out of L.A., several airlines do serve the Pacific Islands. Air New Zealand has a daily flight to Auckland with a stop over in Tonga Tapu.
